[If you would like a more detailed bio please keep reading.]

Gwynne Murphy, a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is available for hire.

A social media enthusiast, Gwynne has agency experience and loves event planning. She currently revels in being a tourist in her own backyard.

Most recently, Gwynne obtained an internship at Weber Shandwick in Chicago, Ill., where she worked on several national public relations campaigns, including the product launch of the Degree Women Fine Fragrance Collection and the promotional program the Mars Real Chocolate Relief Act.

The December 2008 graduate, Gwynne earned her Bachelor of Arts from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where public relations was the focus of her studies. In order to build a well-rounded knowledge base, Gwynne explored other aspects of communication through coursework in advertising, American studies and folklore.

During her college career, Murphy held several internship positions in which she successfully reinforced her educational foundation and solidified her practical industry experience. During her two-semester internship at Howard Merrell & Partners, she gained experience working with clients in several industries from textile to banking and agriculture.

Gwynne held prior internships with MMI Associates, Inc.; APPLES Program, a service-learning program that enables UNC-Chapel Hill students to use classroom knowledge to benefit their surrounding community; and the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) – where she gained experience in social media, media relations, client relations and internal communications.

In addition to internships and academics, Gwynne was an active participant on campus during her time at UNC-Chapel Hill.  Aside to her work with APPLES, she was most notably involved with the Public Relations Student Society of America and the Student Friends of the Ackland Art Museum.

If yes, it would be great if you could send me your email address.
